Wisps are multi-elemental beings. While they can observe the world around them, they can only interact with the world by modifying the elements. This is actually a non-rare playable class. My hope is that it will be a challenging race to play due to its limitations. Seriously, wisps can't talk on any channels, not even ooc, nor can they communicate player-to-player except with any person that has an ops flag set to true. They can, however, write in the dirt, and potentially change the weather. Other plays will not see the player in a room, other than "You feel an intangible presence". At higher levels they gain access to the manifest shade spell which gives them a body, thus letting other players interact with the character.
This is the ultimate race for loners.
